Meet Josh.
Josh graduated from Trine University in 2013 with a B.S. in Design Engineering Technology and a minor in Business. He joined the Fairview staff in 2022 and serves as the Director of High School Ministry. Josh is also continuing his ministry education through the Pastoral Leadership Institute as he works toward becoming a licensed pastor in the Missionary Church.
Josh and his wife, Cassie, have two children, Riley and Cohen. As a family, the Durans spend much of their time around sports, whether cheering from the sidelines, coaching, participating, or enjoying a game together. They also have two dogs, Brodie and Maggie, who round out the family.
Josh has a passion for investing in students and helping them grow in their relationship with Jesus. Outside of ministry, he enjoys coaching (at any level), following Michigan and Trine athletics, and just about anything sports-related. And when the opportunity presents itself, he’s also a firm believer in a good nap—after all, even Jesus took naps.
